2019 was a lovely season with many new guests and also familiar faces.
During our own vacation, it was time for a fresh coat of paint on all the window frames and wooden shutters. We completed that task with the whole family.
In August, it is always enjoyable in the city of Le Mans. During the summer evenings, you can enjoy ‘La nuit des chimères’ throughout the city. This is a light and sound spectacle performed and projected on the walls of the historic old town.
Furthermore, 2019 was a great year for all the fruit trees. In June, we were able to pick a lot of cherries, followed by raspberries in July. In August, the figs and peaches were ripe. September was the time for apple and grape harvesting. We made grape and apple juice from them.
Finally, in October, we could still enjoy the quinces and persimmons.
