Last year, we had another pleasant season. From the end of April, the first guests began to arrive. The weather was sometimes a bit changeable and not as warm as in previous years, but despite that, all the visitors were having a good time and enjoying themselves. The covered terrace, the hot tub, and the sports and games room were clearly favourite spots.
In May, we placed an old cabinet for the linens. This cabinet is a family heirloom and comes from the Alsace region. An old lampshade was also added in the hallway.
At the end of June, Isabelle and I had reserved a week for ourselves. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and were able to mark this joyous occasion surrounded by friends and family 😊.
The end of October is usually the time to clean the garden furniture and store it in the barn. Potted plants also get a spot by the window to catch some light during the winter months. Due to the wet, yet somewhat warm, autumn, the grass kept growing. Therefore, we continued to mow the lawn regularly until early December.
Until sofar this look back at the year 2024. We look forward to welcoming many new and returning guests in the coming season! With warm regards from all of us.
