Dear Jacques and Isabelle,

We would like to thank you once again for the wonderful week at La Camillette. What a charming house and what a lovely garden. It is clear that you have renovated and decorated it with a lot of love and attention, all in style. We strongly feel that even the toilet paper holders were thoughtfully considered before finding their place in the house.

It was especially nice that you welcomed us personally and that we enjoyed a lovely lunch together (guinea fowl!). There was plenty for the children to do and play, and there are abundant spots around the house where one can sit in a lounge chair with a pastis in hand and gaze into the distance for hours.

We were not familiar with le Perche because we, like many Dutch people, are used to driving south as quickly as possible, but this area certainly makes us want to explore more. A beautiful, quiet, and authentic region where life is good. We took a day trip to Paris (by train), and Le Mans was indeed a pleasant surprise. The weather was also great, so in short, it was a week we will remember fondly for a long time.
