The ambition to unwind for two weeks at La Camillette has more than succeeded. The location is beautiful and secluded, yet not far from a great butcher, a bakery, and all other French delights. We had all sorts of plans for the area but hardly ventured beyond the very spacious garden, the new terrace in the barn, and the kitchen.

The house is equipped with all conveniences, and even our young daughters (1 and 3 years old) were able to have a great time in the garden and with everything available (especially the gravel, of course). So it’s a great place for young and old, and definitely worth returning to. Perhaps next time we will get around to all those other attractions.
